ITINERARY
DAY 1 - WELCOME TO GREECE
We will arrive and check into our spacious yet cozy accommodations in Athens. Meet all your fellow travel besties for the week. We’ll stretch our legs and explore Athens with a walk after our long day of travel. We’ll toast to our adventure with wine and dinner at one of Lea’s favorite local restaurants to follow.
DAY 2 - EXPLORE ANCIENT ATHENS
We’ll soak up the ancient monuments and bustling energy of Athens on a fun and easy bike tour. After our ride we’ll enjoy a walking tour of the Acropolis and the Parthenon with our local guide Sapfo. After our exercise we will find the best gyros in the city to enjoy for lunch!
We’ll enjoy a sommelier-guided food and wine tour of Athens enjoying appetizers at a top Greek restaurant, wine tasting at a renowned bar, an olive oil sampling, and delectable Greek treats. We’ll pair wines with local specialties and taste some of Athens most famous dishes. In between bites, take in the gorgeous views of the Parthenon illuminated in the evening light.
DAY 3 - SPA DAY
After our big adventures the previous day we’ll start with a slow morning and meditation led by Lea.
Next we’ll get pampered with a treatment at a traditional Hammam Spa, or Turkish Bath. It’s a place where you can escape the stresses of daily life with moments of calm and deep relaxation. Your one hour treatment includes ritual cleansing, body scrub, hair washing, and gentle massage.
The afternoon will include some free time to shop, eat, drink, or just relax. Take this time to revisit your favorite neighborhood and enjoy lunch on your own.
DAY 4 - RHODES ISLAND BOUND
Quick breakfast and free time to walk and explore before we head out late morning for our hopper flight to Rhodes Island.
We will settle into our new accommodations midday. Start your stay in Rhodes Island by exploring the enchanting Medieval Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where cobblestone streets and historic landmarks transport you back in time.
That evening we will enjoy an epic beautiful Catamaran Boat Tour evening with wine and food included.
DAY 6 - DAYTRIP TO SYMI BY BOAT
Embark on a captivating day trip to Symi, a small, charming island just off the coast of Rhodes. After a scenic boat ride, you'll be greeted by the island’s iconic colorful neoclassical houses that line the harbor, creating a postcard-perfect backdrop. Spend the day wandering through the narrow streets of Symi, exploring its quaint shops, vibrant local markets, and tranquil beaches. Visit the picturesque Panormitis Monastery, perched by the sea, or simply relax by the crystal-clear waters. With plenty of free time to soak in the island’s relaxed atmosphere and natural beauty, the day concludes with a leisurely return journey to Rhodes, leaving you with lasting memories of this enchanting Greek island.
DAY 5 - ELAFOS & APOLLONAS VILLAGES HIKING & COOKING
Begin your day with a scenic hike through the picturesque trails surrounding Elafos Village, where you’ll be immersed in nature, taking in stunning views of the island’s lush landscapes and rugged terrain. Afterward, unwind with a wine-tasting experience at a local vineyard, savoring the rich flavors of Rhodes’ famous wines while learning about the island’s ancient winemaking traditions.
Next, head to Apollonas Village, where you'll roll up your sleeves and dive into the island's culinary heritage by cooking traditional products, such as homemade cheese and bread, under the guidance of local experts. This hands-on experience will leave you with a deeper appreciation for Rhodes’ food culture before you enjoy the fruits of your labor in a delicious meal.
DAY 7 - RHODES ISLAND RELAXATION
On your final free day on Rhodes Island, take time to savor the island’s beauty at your own pace before heading back to Athens. We’ll enjoy breakfast and you can spend the morning relaxing on one of the island's idyllic beaches, exploring the charming streets of Lindo’s Village and do a little last minute souvenir shopping.
Afterward, we’ll catch a flight back to Athens and enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to a beautiful countryside home for the evening. In the evening, enjoy a delicious homemade dinner, featuring fresh, local ingredients, before settling in for a peaceful night’s sleep, surrounded by the calming sounds of the countryside.
DAY 8 - FAREWELL
On your final day in Athens Greece, you'll make your way to the airport for your flight home, reflecting on the unforgettable memories of your journey through Rhodes, Symi, Athens, and beyond.
